Designer of the month
Antwerp based illustrator Sarah Vanbelle has a specific graphic language based on simple geometrical shapes and colours that she uses to create a fantastic fun world. Her work has a retro feel to it with the freshness of modern times. The spirit of her work is described best on her own website:
“I like books, books, books, art, Antwerp, theatre, illustrators, illustrator, typography, cookies, window flowers, infographics, mix tapes, tape, train rides, cities, bikes, birds, road trips, coffee, ink, looking around, lakes, yogurt, pixels, elastics, paper, papers, magazines, curly hair and mellowmellow cakes.”
