About the lab
Pam Myers will share her favourite work from the Radio & Audio jury at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2019, including surprising work that did not win a Lion or perhaps was not even entered, but work we should celebrate and we could learn from. You will be inspired by the very best audio creations from around the world and the jury insights behind it.
About the speaker
Pam Myers started her advertising career at Saatchi & Saatchi London. Always a radio fan, Pam was fortunate enough to be given a chance to break into commercial production via Tony Hertz at The Radio Operators, even though her job application letter was written in script form and included the words 'shop doorbell rings'. She founded Rorschach in the late 90's and, although the audio landscape is now utterly changed, her guiding principles of ambitious production and a love for the medium remain the same.
Pam is fascinated by the art of the voice; the instrument everyone has, everyone can play and to which nearly everyone pays little attention. Over a career with many awards, her proudest achievement to date has been to win Gold, Silver and Bronze Radio & Audio Lions in 2018. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Pam is committed to educating and inspiring a new generation of audio producers through her lecturing partnerships with several UK universities.
