Arnold Hovart is a freelance art director (ex-GV company, Duval Guillaume, VVLBBDO, Saatchi &Saatchi, Leo Burnett). Besides his work in advertising, he illustrates children’s books.

Kapper Tom (2019) came to life thanks to a series of drawings that Arnold made. Writer Danny Devos – their first publication together was the book Vossenstreken in 2017 - was inspired by these illustrations and wrote a story to match them.
